One time I remember having to have faith was when I had a hemorrhagic stroke and  the  left side of my body was paralyzed.

I didn't understand what had happened until a doctor explained to me that a small blood vessel in my brain had broken and bled filling a lot of brain cells with blood preventing oxygen from getting to those cells.  My husband administered to me and we just had to wait and pray and have faith that the bleeding would stop on it's own, which it did. I was in the hospital for nine days, but once I was able to walk a little was able to go home with some follow-up physical therapy for a couple of months and caregiving by my husband and others.  I have since gained back much of my strength and abilities continuing on with faith and great effort over the past 16 years.  I am so thankful for the principal of faith.
