Your mother and I demonstrated faith when we put more than 5 years following the prophets advice to get an education.  It took a long time to get a degree and we saw many people drop out of college during that time because some of them wanted to buy a house or car “now”.  We decided to stick to the plan and get our schooling done and it has been a big blessing in our lives.

We also showed faith by having kids even though we were very poor during the time we were in school.  We knew God would help us and he did.
